Footy Colours Day 2018

When we think of September there’s two things that come to mind – Spring and Footy Finals!

So this September our practice has decided to get involved and help raise funds for the Fight Cancer Foundation by joining their Footy Colours Day campaign.

‘Footy Colours Day is a national fundraising campaign held during the month of September where participants are encouraged to wear their favourite team’s colours and host an event at their school, organisation, group or club to raise funds for kids with cancer.

The campaign was established in 1995 to help fund Fight Cancer Foundation then Bone Marrow Donor Institute’s programs, including the establishment of the Australian Bone Marrow Donor Registry.

Since 2005, funds raised through Footy Colours Day have helped young learners continue with their education while receiving treatment for cancer.’

For the week beginning 24th September 2018, our staff will be showing their true colours by wearing their favourite team’s colours  to bring awareness to this cause.

We would love for you to join in the fun and wear your team’s footy colours to your September appointment, by doing so you will score some extra Rewards Hub points to get you closer to your $10 voucher.

We will have donation boxes in the waiting room for you to drop any coins you may have in your wallet and we will also be holding a raffle with a VERY exciting prize for you to enter (raffle details to be announced shortly), but trust me you don’t want to miss out on your chance to win this prize!
